Synopsis: Two young brothers were trapped in a world of violence. 6 year old Tanner took matters in to his own hands and shot his violently abusive, drug-induced parents. The kids were immediately separated by the state and Johnny was adopted into a traditional family while Tanner was raised by the correctional institution and forced to suffer the hells of prison.
Fifteen years later and with only 12 Buck$, they reunite for a cross country journey back home. Their very different worlds collide into hatred, guilt, pain and fear as they search for redemption. With every mile traveled, another piece of their past is relived. A brutal assault between the local police and Johnny jars his memory of the tormenting childhood massacre. He realizes he shot their dad and assisted Tanner in the murder. Not until now does Johnny realize the
unbelievable sacrifice his brother has made for him by stomaching the entire blame.
The end of their journey brings them to Hollywood. There stands mom, who had survived the shootings and rehabilitation, awaiting a chance to start over.
