Synopsis:
Filmed on location in South Africa by former James Bond director Peter Hunt, this gripping action yarn stars Roger Moore as Rod Slater, the newly appointed general manager of the Sonderditch Mine, and unwilling pawn in a deadly conspiracy to manipulate the price of gold on the world market. An unscrupulous businessman aims to sabotage the mine by drilling into an underground lake and flooding it even if it costs the lives of hundreds of innocent miners. It’s up to Slater to find a way to save the mine and the men who work there.
