Synopsis:
Owen Daybright (Burt Lancaster) is the adopted son of rancher Arch Strobie (Ray Collins) and foster brother of Lee Strobie
(Robert Walker). The virtuous Owen has spent his life covering up the devious actions of his brother, but Lee wants Owen out
of the way so he can become sole heir to the ranch. Lee sees his opportunity when he fathers an illegitimate child with cafe
waitress Lily Fasken (Sally Forrest), shifts the blame to Owen, and encourages Lily’s brothers to seek revenge upon the man
who dishonored their sister. After discovering Lee’s treachery, Owen decides it’s time to settle the score once and for all.
