Synopsis:
Jay Roth (Shane Jacobsen - The Three Way), an ambitious car salesman dreams to one day own his own dealership. The “A” Plate or dealer plate is the ultimate badge of honor for anyone who owns a dealership. Unfortunately, Jay’s boss, Dick Stevens (Sam McMurray - “State of the Union”, “The Boondocks”, “The King of Queens”), refuses him a partnership. The dealership is in jeopardy when Dick’s wife, Candice (Priscilla Barnes - “Three’s Company”, The Devil’s Rejects, Licence to Kill), catches him having an affair and she vows to divorce him and take everything he’s got. Jay sees an opportunity to get a piece of the dealership but must follow the sleazy unwritten code of the car business to see his dream come true. While scheming up alliances with both Dick and Candice, Jay meets Dick’s beautiful daughter Andrea (Julie Ann Emery - “Damages”) . Andrea has come back home to help sort out her parent’s divorce and has no interest in Jay despite all of his charming efforts. While Jay is occupied romancing Andrea, the whole dealership gets caught up in the world of sex and lies. Jay’s life spins out of control as he gets further and further away from his true desires.
